Why do I like teaching very young Children?

“One of the best parts of working in ECE is getting to meet and build relationships with families and children from all different cultures and walks of life.

I also love watching the children’s sense of confidence and pride grow as they master new skills and set themselves new challenges. The joy, satisfaction and pure happiness on their faces as they play and learn is a pleasure to watch and it is very rewarding as a teacher to work alongside these children, sharing in their accomplishments and discoveries.”

Why do I like teaching at Early Childhood on Stafford?

“I really enjoy working at ECOS and being a part of a very talented, supportive and diverse teaching team. We all bring something different to the table, giving the children a variety of different views, teaching styles and learning opportunities. I love that both the under two and over two rooms share the same amazing outdoor play area allowing for the different age groups to mix and learn alongside each other. This also allows me to develop relationships with children in both rooms which is something that I value. When I see once shy children moving on to school as confident and capable learners with so many skills and abilities, it makes me appreciate the magical and unique place that is ECOS.”
