Rationale

This policy explains the process of enrolling at  Early Childhood on Stafford.  We are committed to developing close relationships with both the child and their whanau/caregivers and believe that regular attendance will enhance relationships and create a settled and consistent learning programme.

  1. Enrolment criteria
  • The child will attend for 20 hours or more per week taken over 4 or five days. Each day must be for a period of 4 hours or more.
  • All children over two years of age will attend for  25 or more hours per week over 4 or 5 days. Minimum attendance per day must be for a period of 4 hours or more.
  1. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to be paid before a starting date is confirmed. Once the child commences this will be deducted from the first account.

If cancellation of enrolment happens before the agreed starting date - the deposit will be forfeited.

  1. If a parent is unable to get a space confirmed and agree to place enrolment on the waiting list, there will be no deposit required until a space on our rolls is confirmed.

Please note: Early Childhood on Stafford encourages all families to participate in a settling period prior to the start date.  This will be negotiated and reviewed by the staff and parents.
